Double glazing sealed units

As well as windows we also supply and replace double glazing glass in all shapes and sizes. Whether it is frosted clear or security glass we can normally supply any type of unit for domestic installation.

Commercial wired and safety toughened glass is avilable upon request depending on the type and installation requirements.

Double glazing glass comes in many different types of width from 24mm to 32mm as the type of spacing bar and thickness of glass differ depending on what type of requirement you have and the type of installation ie door, porch or commercial building.

We do not recommend you remove and try to install any type of double glazing glass yourself. It is very dangerous and the glass after being removed has to be dumped in a safe place licensed to handle glass.

The other reason not to remove the glass is the window will require a type of installation method little known outside the industry which seals the glass in such a way that the gap around the window is sealed and no air or moisture gets through.

If the glass is incorrectly installed moisture will more than likely enter the window as well as insects and major damp problems. Where you think you may be saving money initially will end up costing a lot more in the long term.
